Hotel De Bonte Wever Assen

The tight dining spaces make it hard to enjoy meals!!! The confusing hotel layout could frustrate guests trying to find their rooms!!!

Very well situated for the Assen MotoGP. Excellent facilities. Good sized rooms. Fantastic shower. Welcoming and helpful staff. Superb buffet breakfast. Everywhere very clean.

Not really a dislike, but no tea & coffee making facility in bedroom. Would have liked a hairdryer to have been provided as well.

Lovely place to stop we were on a motorbike and the owner was very helpful with a very secure place to park. It ideal place to stay lots to do and see food very good. Would recommend to our friends

The indoor pool was hella fun, especially with the wave feature for the kids. Plenty of activities on-site, from bowling to tasty food options. Location's super convenient, being close to the TT circuit and the city center.

Excellent location to watch the suberbike races at Assen. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is brand new and the rooms are good and clean. Good shower, good bed

Its an all inclusive hotel, so many people walk around with wristbands eaten whatever they can :-) Not really my thing...

The room was clean and spacious, with a tv, fridge, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. The indoor pool has a fun wave feature. The fitness center offers classes and a hot tub. Dinner had an extensive buffet with local specialties and a nice chilled outdoor seating area.

Close to Assen TT circuit

When checking in I was asked for more money than my invoice was for. Thought the swimming pool and gym were included in the price only to be told I had to pay extra for them. Only shower gel when arriving not replaced daily. I travel all over the world and this is unusual, normally what you see on the web/brochure is what you get and the gel etc is replaced (if used) daily).

The very new and so clean rooms and bathrooms. Free wireless internet everywhere in the building (very handy). Nice beds and very friendly hotel staff.

The pillows were not so good. The heating system is not very efficient. Even when you put it on the room feels still quite cold.

Indoor pools keep kids entertained. Limited snack bar hours were inconvenient, especially during the busy times.

The hotel is part of a large leisure complex almost like an urban Center Parks. Good if that is what you are looking for. Rooms modern and comfortable.

1. Check in was very poor. I queued for 35 minutes and when I got to the front was asked to fill in a form. I returned to the queue and the receptionist then produced a reservation from her file which already had all of the information on that she required. 45 minutes to process 6 guests is totally unacceptable. 2 Rooms not cleaned properly during my 3 days. 3. Hotel completely lacking in warmth and atmosphere.

great stay with some room for improvement

The room was clean and well-equipped. The buffet breakfast was a standout, with a wide variety of delicious options. I appreciated the secure parking for our bikes, we felt safe during our time there. There were also great kids' activities, keeping the little ones entertained throughout our visit.

The layout of the hotel was somewhat confusing, making it a challenge to find our rooms at times.

Helpful, friendly staff

Alarmed that they had no record of my booking in their system, even though I had a confirmed reservation number from Bookings.com. Fortunately, it was a quiet period and they had spare rooms.

Overall it was a warm stay during our visit. The setting was magnificent, next to Centrum of Assen. We saw Draaiorgelmuseum, that's a 10-15 minute walking distance from the venue.
